“Siam Tara resort is located in a quiet position but not too far from the main road through Chiang Khong in lovely natural surroundings with widespread views from the upper floor outside walkway to the upper rooms. The large bed was comfortable. Bring your own shower gel, mosquito spray, creams and potions etc, although soap is provied - the linen was spotless. Although there was no kettle in the room, I was able to have a mug of tea on spec from the dining area, using my own tea bags and milk in my travel mug (there was a refrigerator in the room), but tea and coffee is available as is wine and beer etc. The food for breakfast and dinner was fresh and delicious, and the staff were so friendly and helpful to serve you, including home made strawberry jam and freshly juiced oranges. My friend and I also got a lift to the large Lotus's shopping mall and a lift back. Khun Tha will help arrange a driver/taxi for tours. I didn't use the swimming pool, although it looked very inviting. If visiting Northern Thailand for the first time you need to have warmer clothing for the morning and evening. Layers are best. A long or short sleeved t-shirt under a zip up jacket and light-weight jeans or trousers. It was very warm during the day, although you will see locals wearing jackets and long trousers all day, and light-weight trainers rather than flipflops.”

“房間大院子大床不太舒服，沒有空調衹有一個小電扇，沒有洗手間洗手上廁所洗澡都要走很遠步驟多了來回走很不方便，Wi-Fi很快，有個大泳池可以玩。出了酒店門口就是711走幾步就是湄公河邊可以看到老撾。”

“โรงแรมวิวแม่น้ำโขงถ้ามาจากเชียงแสนจะอยู่ต้นๆถนนเลย บรรยากาศดี เงียบสงบ โรงแรมมีพื้นที่กว้าง ห้องพักสะอาดดี แต่ทีวีเปิดไม่ติดแต่ปกติก็ดูแต่แทปเลตอยู่แล้วเลยไม่ซีเรียสเรื่องทีวี ไวไฟก็ดีอยู่ มีที่จอดรถเยอะพอสมควร อาหารเช้าใช้ได้ครับ มีออนเซนแบบญี่ปุ่นด้วย บ่อใหญ่มากมองวิวแม่น้ำกับฝั่งลาว น้ำอุ่นดี มีบาร์ริมสระว่ายน้ำ มีโอกาศจะแวะไปพักใหม่”
