“Really nice hotel, in a great city. It wasn’t noisy, the staff were very helpful, and they insisted I used both my breakfast vouchers (from booking a double room) so I had a double breakfast! I would stay here again next time I am in Ilo-Ilo City.”

“What We Like: Allowed us to check in early at 12 noon (usual check-in is 2pm). Very clean and welcoming ambiance, both inside and outside the hotel. Friendly and professional staff — from the receptionist to restaurant and housekeeping staff, everyone greeted us with smiles and was very helpful. Requests were acknowledged and accommodated. Spacious and spotless room; bedsheets and towels were soft and smelled fresh. Great in-house restaurant with a good selection of food. Pool was unoccupied, so we had it all to ourselves during our last day. Convenient location — there’s a 7/11 just across the street. ⚖️ What Can Be Improved: Pool could use more lounge chairs or shaded areas for relaxation. Some areas of the hotel interior look a bit dated and could benefit from minor upgrades.”

“*Review for J7 Hotel (September 24, 2025)* I recently stayed at the J7 Hotel, and overall, I had a comfortable experience. The service was good, and the employees and crew were polite and attentive. However, I noticed that the towels provided were old and showed signs of wear and tear. I would suggest replacing them to enhance the overall guest experience. Despite this, I appreciated the hospitality and professionalism of the staff. I would recommend the J7 Hotel to others, with the hope that they will address the issue with the towels. *Rating:* 4/5 stars *Suggestions for Improvement:* - Replace old towels with new ones to ensure a more comfortable stay for guests. *Overall Experience:* Good service, polite staff, but some amenities could use an upgrade.”

“There's no water on the 4th floor and it took them longer to refill, we called twice. There's no dental kit. It's our second time to check-in at the Hop Inn, Iloilo. I thought there'll be changes, like they will provide dental kits. But it's the same as our first check-in at the hotel. Still, there's no dental kit. The location is awesome - so accessible. When it comes to cleanliness, yes! It's clean. The location is so convenient. But lacking amenities. Like heater/electric kettle, dental kit, refrigerator. Like that. The only thing you can do here is sleep and relax.”
