“Absolutely amazing stay , as soon as we arrived everything was great and customer service was brilliant . They even upgraded us to a room with a hot tub for my husbands birthday. Spa was lovely and even on the checkout day can use it to 1pm which was a nice bonus. We ate in the restaurant and the food was excellent and so good only had to walk 30 seconds from our room. Will definitely be back to visit again!”

“ทำเลที่ตั้งอยู่ไกลจากทะเลสาบเล็กน้อย เดินเพียง 10 นาที แต่เป็นถนนสายหลักที่ตัดผ่านตัวเมือง ก็ยังดีที่จะมองไปตลอดทาง ตัวบ้านค่อนข้างเก่า โปรดใช้ความระมัดระวังในการขนกล่องขนาดใหญ่ เนื่องจากการขึ้นลงบันไดอาจลำบากเล็กน้อย”

“Rum Doodle, well it was our first time at The Lakes and it certainly won't be our last! The location was just right with being part way between Windermere town and Bowness and was walkable to both. There were plenty of shops, bars and restaurants in walking distance as well as lake Windermere itself. We found Rum Doodle with ease and was greeted at the door with a smile and friendly man (the owner but didn't catch his name). We were bought a fresh glass of apple and orange juice to our room which was refreshing after a long drive to Windermere. Our room was comfy, not too big or too small, a wardrobe, seating in the bay window, hairdryer, hot drink making facilities, wine glasses with cork screw and bottle opener. Very modern, clean and well presented bathroom with soft and fluffy towels, and a really nice shower. The bed was very comfortable and welcomed after a busy day exploring the surrounding area. Breakfast was really good with cereal, fresh fruit and yogurt, toast, and then a choice of breakfast which were great too. We had a pleasant and informative chat at breakfast with the lady that works there who gave us the heads up on some driving routes to try and avoid which was really useful. After a day out exploring we went back to Rum Doodle to a cleaned room and freshly made bed with the tea and coffee replenished, so we were able to just drop and the bed with a nice cuppa and biscuit. Then out for a walk, some lovely food and a couple of drinks. We couldn't recommend The Lakes and Rum Doodle enough! Well worth every penny”

“The room was warm, clean and spacious. Staffs were cheerful. Location is great. Easy access to many attractions, such as the Bridge House, Orrest Head Viewpoint, Queen Adelaide's Hill. The breakfast is rich and they do veg breakfast.”

“早餐很好吃，周邊環境不錯，交通便利。美中不足是房間的暖氣時有時無，而且酒店與訂房平台有訊息差：我們選擇了平台給出的建議方案——三晚訂購兩種不同的房型（第一二天a房，第三天b房），酒店卻説我們衹訂購了一種（價格較低的），如果不是我們堅持要問清楚，他們似乎想忽略差價讓我們連續三晚都住在同一間房。最後解決了問題，但還是讓人覺得有點不愉快。”
