“I stayed here with my daughter for 2 nights. The hotel is ideally situated close to the centre of town. The hotel reception staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel has an old vintage feel to it which we liked. The room and bathroom were both clean with comfortable beds.”

“Very basic stay. A short walk from the train station. They allow pets which might be a positive for some. I heard dog’s barking in the night which I did not appreciate. Breakfast was basic but adequate and staff was helpful.”

“I picked this hotel as it is ideally located near the channel tunnel. Literally about 5 minutes drive. My only issue was when checking in. I was extremely tired from having driven 7 hours to be told that my booking had not been paid for! I had 100% paid and I had the receipt to show them but it took them about half an hour to finally see that trip.com had sent the money. By this time I was at crying point as so tired I just wanted to go to my room. Bearing in mind they were both speaking in French so I didn’t have a clue what they were saying either, it was really stressful. I messaged trip.com and they were extremely helpful and the issue was sorted a few minutes after that, so I wish I’d done that in the beginning but was not sure what the problem was at that point as could not understand them. There was also a couple behind me who had the same problem. Once I’d got over that, the hotel itself was absolutely fine. I went back down to reception and the lady was really helpful with giving me directions etc. I didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment on that but I got a hot chocolate out of their machine for a few euros and that was really nice. The room was quite small but that didn’t bother me as just a place to sleep for the night before my journey the next day. I would stay here again as convenient for Chanel tunnel.”
