“Location 5/5. Visibility of the hotel is terrible. Coming from the Bayi Memorial station, the hotel is not viable. The entrance is not Chongshan but a side lane. There is a small Ibis logo amongst number advertisements. The entrance is a small door to a lift. The front desk is on the 3rd floor but it's not marked on the lift. From the Bayi Metro station, pass McDonald's and it's the first lane after. If you pass the spherical bollards , you have passed it.
The room is aged.
Housekeeping 5/5. Front desk 3.5)5.”
“Pleasantly surprised with a room upgrade to what I think is their suite room, or junior suite at least, on the highest floor at Level 26. A huge living room with a working desk and separate toilet. A luxurious bedroom with loads of space, a walk-in open wardrobe big enough for 2 large luggages. Bathtub, standing shower, another toilet and twin basins. Bed is firm but pillows are too soft for my liking.
Service was also on point, Barry at the front desk was very friendly and helpful.
I guess all these makes up for the location. It's near the exhibition centre and Nanjingxi train station but other than that there's nothing else within walking distance. Luckily food delivery is fast and cheap here, same with ride hailing.
I wish the hotel had robots sending my delivery up though. And that the lifts worked faster.
But overall it's a good stay and will be my choice hotel the next time I attend an exhibition here.”
