“Near to Miyanoura Port, coming from Uno Port. It is a mere 4 min walk from the port. There is no reception to inform you of the room. So we opened the doors to each building. My name was on a piece of paper near the door/ shoe shelf. If there is someone staying in a building, he/she/ they would have locked the door so no worries. Big clean and nice :)”

“This little guesthouse is simple but so well priced and met all our needs - mostly its close proximity (15 minutes walk) to both Honnura port area and the start of the Benesse house art zone, the main locations for the absolutely amazing art installations on Naoshima. Room was well sized, clean, secure and warm. The host was very friendly - he even gave us a lift into the Benesse area to give us a great head start on our day, and securely stored our luggage for the day. I would definitely stay here again. For those coming to Naoshima I would recommend staying 2 nights so you are not rushing your time on this beautiful serene island and make sure you book various galleries well in advance, they sell out even in off season!!”

“The steep hill leading up to My Naoshima Lodge felt quite unwelcoming at first, but to my pleasant surprise, beautiful cats came out to greet us! Being an avid cat lover, that really was a great perk for me. Anyway, the hotel, being relatively new, had very clean facilities and I really had nothing to complain about except for the relatively earlier checkout time (10AM! Seriously?😭) compared to other accomodations and inaccessibility to eating spots. Definitely recommend stopping by at the only 7Eleven in Naoshima on your way uphill.”
