“I have a strictly analytical view of my stay here. In terms of hardware and aesthetics, this homestay is impeccable. The location is strategic (near Shenyang North Station and the subway), and the room itself is well-appointed. It has everything a traveler needs, including a washing machine—a significant plus point—and offers a beautiful night view of the city.
Visually, the space is excellent.
However, the experience was severely impacted by a critical structural flaw: the lack of soundproofing. The walls appear to offer zero acoustic isolation. Throughout my stay, I was constantly aware of the neighbors—upstairs, beside, left, and right every night with different groups. The noise from excited tourists chatting loudly penetrated the room easily, making it difficult to find quiet or rest.
While I appreciate the design and utility of the room, the inability to control the auditory environment makes it hard to recommend for light sleepers or those seeking a peaceful retreat. It is a beautiful room, but unfortunately, it is not a quiet one.”
